'avin it!

Marathon S.

As Delia Smith said "Come on, where are you?", like George Foreman winning a World title in his 40's, like Gandalf the Grey returning as Gandalf the White, like the Phoenix rising from the Ashes, like a homing pigeon, like Benji the dog or Lassie finding their way home, like Rocky Balboa beating Apollo Creed in Rocky 2, like a zombie, I'm back!!!

Yes, you read that right, you doubters, I laugh in your face.

After putting on 6.5 pounds in Barca and London and crippling myself I'm like Steve Austin "The Six Million Dollar Man" rebuilt, better stronger, faster.

I had some cross trainer action again last night, 60 mins on level 12, never dropping below 10, with my heart between 140 - 160, I covered 11K and burnt over 800 calories. My knee band was on and I felt great.

Hopped off the trainer like spring heeled jack and carried out the isometric exercises and strectches I've read in my new book and feel good.

Went home, raised my leg, iced my knee and lived the dream.

More cross trainer action and stretching tonight, who knows, may even be able to have a bit of a run on Sunday, though me and Marathon T are planning some body board action on Saturday morning.

Lock up your Daughter, the running man cometh again!!
